How do I care for and protect my stylus?
These steps will help to ensure many hours of playback by protecting and maintaining your turntable's stylus:
- When the turntable is not in use, always use the provided stylus protector to prevent accidental damage.
- Do not touch the stylus with anything other than a stylus brush.
- Use a stylus cleaning brush to remove dust and debris from the stylus.
- Regularly clean your records to prevent strain on the stylus.
- Install the included stylus guard when the turntable is not in use to prevent accidental damage
- To reduce wear and tear on your stylus, enable the auto-stop function.
- Ensure tracking force is set according to the manual as adding more weight will put extra strain on the stylus.
- Ensure that you are lowering the tonearm using the cueing lever and not manually dropping it.
