How do I take care of my turntable?

To keep your turntable in top condition, it's essential to keep the components clean. These easy steps will help keep your turntable playing its best:

DUST COVER:
  • Keep the dust cover closed while records are not playing.
  • Do not place objects on the dust cover. It can be easily scratched.
  • Clean the dust cover with a clean lint-free cloth. If there is debris in the fabric, it may scratch the cover.
PLINTH:
  • Install the stylus guard to prevent accidental touching of the stylus.
  • Use a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth to clean the plinth. Ensure there is nothing else on the cloth that could scratch the finish.

ACRYLIC PLATTER:

  • Use a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth to clean the platter. Ensure there is nothing else on the cloth that could scratch the platter.

STYLUS:

  • Use a stylus brush to clean dirt and debris from the stylus.
  • Do not touch the stylus with your finger or any type of cloth as it can grab the stylus tip and pull it away from the cartridge.
