My tonearm drops too fast, how do I fix it?
Over time you may find the tonearm will start lowering faster than before.
This is due to the dampening oil drying over time.
Fortunately, there is an easy fix!
First, you will need dampening fluid such as "Super Lube 51004 Synthetic Oil" which can be found on Amazon.

- Remove the headshell to avoid accidental damage to the stylus when you move the tonearm.
- Remove the tonearm bridge by removing the screw in the image below.

- IMPORTANT! When you remove the screw there will be a small spring, be sure not to lose it!
- Once the bridge has been removed you will see the brass piston that lifts the tonearm bridge.

- Apply one or two drops to the side of the piston. It will run down and slow the drop of the piston. Do not over-apply the lubricant, it will stop the lift from lowering entirely.
- Reinstall the bridge and test the tonearm drop speed.
