What banana plugs can I use with Fluance Speakers?

All Fluance speakers can be used with banana plugs. We offer banana plugs compatible with 16 to 12 AWG speaker wire here: Banana Plug, Double Screwed 24K Gold-Plated Color-Coded Connectors

To install speaker wire into the banana plugs, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the Collar from the Sleeve and install on speaker wire. 


  2. Loosen and remove the Plug from the Sleeve and install the Sleeve onto the speaker wire. 


  3. Loosen the screws on the Plug and insert 1/2 inch of stripped wire into the Plug. 


  4. Firmly tighten the screws onto the wire. 


  5. Install the Sleeve onto the Plug, rotating until fully tightened. 


  6. Install the Collar onto the Sleeve, rotating until fully tightened. 


  7. When connecting banana plugs to speakers, they may not fit flush with the binding post when plugged in. The sides of the plug will compress to form a tight fit inside the binding post.
