What speaker wire should I buy?

We recommend the use of 18 - 12 gauge wire due to the larger amount of copper contained in this gauge of wire. In turn, this creates less resistance which makes it easier for the signal to pass through. A higher gauge (meaning a smaller wire with less copper), can result in power loss, which in turn means lower sound quality and diminished performance from your home theater system.
