Why are my speakers or turntable making a thumping, chopping sound?

Being a sensitive piece of audio equipment, your turntable may be experiencing electrical/wireless interference from wireless devices nearby, such as routers, modems, microwaves, smart assistant devices, and streaming sticks. Often this is described as sounding like a helicopter.

To resolve this, you will need to move the wireless device away from the turntable. You may also need to have it plugged into power in another outlet or if possible, another circuit separate from the turntable or speakers.
