Why don't my speakers sound like I expected?
At Fluance, we recommend a minimum 10 hour break-in period for all of our speakers.
Breaking your speakers in allows the rubber in the speaker surrounds to stretch which will reduce their stiffness over time. If you find your speakers are not loud enough or don't sound like you expected, allow them to run through this break-in period. We recommend leaving the radio on or another source while at work at a moderate volume level.

It's also important to ensure that your amplifier or receiver is able to provide enough power to drive the speakers. We recommend that the output power of the receiver or amplifier exceed the power handling of the speakers. This ensures your speakers receive the necessary power at any volume without causing stress on the speakers or receiver.
