Why is my subwoofer not working?

There are several reasons you may not be hearing audio from your subwoofer. The steps below should address the most common causes:

1. Ensure the subwoofer is connected to power and the power switch is in the on, or auto position. If set to auto, test in the on position.
2. Verify the volume is set to an audible level by adjusting the volume knob on the back of the subwoofer
3. If the subwoofer is connected to an amplifier or receiver, check the settings to ensure it's set to a mode that uses the subwoofer and confirm if there are any subwoofer volume settings that need to be configured.
4. Confirm the subwoofer audio cable is connected to the input on the subwoofer and an LFE or SUB OUT connection on the speakers or amplifier/receiver.
5. Disconnect the power and audio cables, and reconnect them.
6. Try a different cable.
